ایک انتہائی گنہگار آدمی کا قصہ

  بصرہ کے قریب ایک انتہائی گنہگار آدمی رہتا تھا جب وہ مر گیا تو اس کے جنازے کو اُٹھانا تو بہت دور کی بات ہے کسی نے ہاتھ لگانا بھی گوارا نہ کِیا۔ایسی حالت میں اس کی بیوی نے کرائے کے مزدور لیے وہ جنازہ اُٹھوا کر قبرستان لے گئی۔قبرستان کے قریب پہاڑوں میں ایک زاہد رہتا تھا جس کی عبادت کا بہت شہرہ تھا۔جنازہ رکھنے سے پہلے وہ جنازہ پڑھنے کا منتظر تھا۔جب اس زاہد کے جنازہ پڑھانے کی خبر پہنچی تو لوگ جوق درجوق جمع ہونا شروع ہو گئے انہوں نے اس زاہد کی اقتداء میں نمازِ جنازہ پڑھی۔ لوگوں کو زاہد کے اِس فعل پر سخت حیرانی ہوئی۔انہوں نے نمازِ جنازہ کے بارے اس سے سوال کِیا تو اس نے بتایا کہ مجھے خواب میں یہ حکم ملا،فلاں جگہ جاؤ وہاں جنازہ آرہا ہے اس کے ساتھ صرف ایک عورت ہے جس کا جنازہ ہے وہ مغفور ہے۔اِس جملے پر لوگوں کی حیرانی میں مزید اضافہ ہُوا۔عورت سے اس کے حالات معلوم کرنے پر پتہ چلا کہ درست ہے کہ یہ شرابی تھا اورشراب خانے میں ساری عمر گزاری مگر اس میں ایک صفت تھی کہ صبح جب یہ مدہوش نہ ہوتا تو با وضو نمازِ فجر ادا کرتا تھا۔دوسرا اس کے گھر میں یتیم بچے رہتے تھے جن سے اپنے بچوں جیسا سلوک کرتا تھا...
