sultanate usmania

Who is the founder of sultanate usmania?

Osman I, a leader of the Turkish tribes in Anatolia, founded the Ottoman Empire around 1299. The term “Ottoman” is derived from Osman's name, which was “Uthman” in Arabic. The Ottoman Turks set up a formal government and expanded their territory under the leadership of Osman I, Orhan, Murad I and Bayezid
Osman I
The empire came into existence at the end of the 13th century, and its first ruler (and the namesake of the Empire) was Osman I.
The title officially first came in use during the reign of Sultan Suleiman II. The Sultan could have up to four and some times five women i.e. wives with the imperial rank of Kadın and unlimited number of wives with the rank of Ikbal.
Suleiman the Magnificent
  • Suleiman I (Ottoman Turkish: سليمان اول, romanized: Süleyman-ı Evvel; Turkish: I. ...
  • Suleiman succeeded his father, Selim I, as sultan on 30 September 1520 and began his reign with campaigns against the Christian powers in central Europe and the Mediterranean.
  • Süleyman I (II) the Magnificent (1521-1566)

Arguably the greatest of all the Ottoman leaders, Süleyman not only extended his empire greatly but he encouraged an era of great cultural wonder.
