The basic beliefs of Muslims

To this day, all those who have become Muslims acknowledge that Allah is One and that there is no partner and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah. This is how anyone enters the realm of Islam. When one considers the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to be the last prophet of God, it becomes obligatory on him to believe in everything he says and try to act on it. For example, he said that there is no prophet after me and that he is the last messenger of God, so believing in that is one of the duties of Islam. The basic tenets of Islam, on which there is no difference of opinion among Muslims, are as follows:
Allah is One and He is One. Other than that, no one is worthy of worship.
Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last prophet and messenger of Allah.
The Qur'an is the book of Allah and every word and letter of it is from Allah.
Resurrection and reckoning, that is, life after death
Belief in the Obligation of Prayer, Fasting, Zakat, Jihad and Hajj (Whoever Can Afford Hajj)
Belief in angels, previous prophets and books
Those who believe in the above are called Muslims. Other differences are sectarian and political.
