Al-Haafiz Ibn Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Zad al-Ma'ad (1/54): And that Hajj is the day of Akbar (the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Surely the Day of Judgment is the best day in the sight of Allaah.) 2 - This is the day of Hajj Akbar. During the Hajj, the young men stood in the middle of Jamrat on the day of Thayum-ul-Nahr (Eid-ul-Adha) and said, "This is the day of Hajj Akbar."
